Google Maps Adds Harry Potter Shopping District in Street View (PHOTO)
Intent on offering customers a full perspective of geographical locations, Google Maps has added the small shopping district of Diagon Alley, as seen in Harry Potter, to its service.
On the rare chance that you are facing a horrific monster that will require a magic wand and a slew of potions in order to destroy it, have no fear- Google Maps is there. Following up on its promise to users that with Google, you will never need a map again, the company has begun to draw out maps for some of the most remote locations. One of those locations includes the fantastical world of Harry Potter.
The map features Diagon Alley where characters in the Harry Potter series go to purchases wizardry books for school, magic wands, flying brooms, and other essential supplies. Also available in "Street View" the map actually depicts a Warner Bros. Studio remake of the shopping center as it appears in the movie. The set of the movie is located in London.

Users on Google who reviewed the maps said job well done, although some have complained about construction in the area.
"I visited Diagon Alley in the hopes to buy all of my equipment for my first year of Hogwarts. While it was interesting to see where the legendary Harry Potter visited it was rather annoying that they have put up fencing preventing me from acquiring a wand from Ollivander's and robes from Madam Malkin's," one user wrote. "I am not allowed to use magic outside of Hogwarts just yet and so I couldn't even get past the barrier."
Others complained about customer service in the area.
"Nice place to buy magic supplies... even though some people are not nice, most of them are," another user said.
Google Maps may eventually have to offer a disclosure. Apparently those who follow the map suffer slight bouts of dislocation.
