'Gotham' Spoilers: Gordon And Lee's Relationship To Suffer Because Of Gordon's Mistake; Wayne Finds Out Who Killed His Parents

"Gotham" returns to the small screen on February 29, nearly one-and-a-half months from today. As fans have some more time to wait before the next episode airs, the Internet is already full of theories and spoilers on what happens to Jim Gordon (Benjamin Mckenzie) and the villains of Gotham City, as well as young Mr. Wayne (David Mazouz). According to TV Guide, the winter run of the series will put Gordon in a difficult position after he killed Theo Galavan (James Frain), while the young Bruce Wayne will be finding out who killed his parents.

In the mid-season finale episode last December, Gordon was seen working with Penguin (Robin Taylor) in order to get to Galavan. At the end of the episode, he killed Galavan rather than turning him over to the system. In the meantime, he makes a huge life decision by proposing to Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) after he finds out she is pregnant with their child.

The show's executive producer, Bruno Heller, told TV Guide that Gordon's actions with Galavan puts him in a compromised position. Murder is not something that is forgotten or forgiven. While Captain Barnes will be hounding him about this, according to the report, what will be most affected will be his relationships with other people, most especially Lee. According to Heller, Gordon's "need to have honest relationships does betray him in the end."

One of the villains in the show, Penguin, will be gaining his foothold over the city once again but not without any competition. Gilzean will certainly challenge Penguin but according to TV Guide, it will be Dr. Hugo Strange (B.D. Wong) who will have "a profound effect on Penguin." Heller added, "He makes a new man of him in many ways."

While it is good news that Wayne will finally be getting to the bottom of his parents' murders, one report in Unreality TV UK speculates what will happen to the young man after he finds out and what impact the revelation will have on his relationships with the people around him.
