Grumpy Cat Coffee: Available August 7th

Grumpy Cat will introduce a new brand of coffee that attempts to un-grumpify any mood.

Studies have proved that coffee is a natural mood enhancer. With that in mind, Grumpy Cat will take a stroll on the bright side, introducing a new coffee beverage that may have everyone in better spirits.

The owners of the frowning feline will introduce the new coffee beverage online August 7th. Made with Arabica beans and mixed with milk, the new coffee beverage will come in three flavors: Mocha, Coffee, and Vanilla. Titled the "Grumppuccino" it will have a logo of Grumpy Cat on the front. The only draw back of course is that Grumpy Cat herself cannot verify the flavor selection, as her only interest was in drinking the milk.

A Facebook post announcing the anticipated arrival of the new beverage was made over the weekend, promising that the new beverage would be "delicious." Bottled coffee is not the first business venture for the feline however, who also has out a book, merchandise, and soon- a film.

The film will be a "Garfield" like animation featuring the cat, who started out last September as a simple meme. Considered one of the most successful memes of all times, Grumpy Cat has stirred up all sort of laughter despite her apparent grouchy appearance. She was voted Meme of the Year at the 2013 Webby Awards, named the most influential cat of 2012 by MSNBC, and made multiple television appearances.

"This started off as a picture of a cat, but rare is an image that evokes that much comedy," Todd Garner, one of the producers of the Grumpy Cat film told Deadline. "You read all of the memes and the comments, and one is funnier than the next. We think we can build a big family comedy around this character."
