'GTA 5 Online' Adversary Mode Gives Players Double and New Items

Rockstar Games has just released a Valentine's Day DLC update for "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5" and "GTA Online," which will give players the chance to earn new items and double rewards by just playing the new Adversary Mode.

"GTA Online" fans can take advantage of the Be My Valentine event that brings new interesting content and generous rewards. By playing the Adversary mode called "Till Death Do Us Part," they can also earn twice as much GTA$ and double reputation (RP), according to Neuro Gadget.

To play the "Till Death Do Us Part" mode, players need only to go to the Pause Game menu of "GTA Online" and look for it under the Adversary Mode section, MobiPicker relays.

The new game mode is made for couples and requires four pairs to fight each other in a similar fashion with the classic Team Deathmatch mode. If a person dies, the partner must take their own life. Partners who manage to stick together will get health regeneration bonuses.

The said mode generally encourages players to cooperate with each other. The game is set in any of the five romantic locations in Los Santos and Blaine County, the report adds.

Joining and playing through everything on the special playlist for the Adversary Mode event will also grant the players with Fireworks Launcher and Fireworks. By spending time with another player, they will also be able to earn double RP.

To celebrate Valentine's Day, the new update has included two new contests designed to give players the chance to gain even more GTA$ and additional items. The Snapmatic contest is giving away GTA$1,000,000 to players who will be able to capture the true essence of the DLC. The Valentine's Social Club Sweepstakes, on the other hand, will give players the chance to take home special gear and a soundtrack, the report details.

The "GTA Online" Adversary Mode runs from Feb. 12 to 18.
