'Hand of Fate 2' Release Date, News: Game to Come Out Next Month; New Character Revealed

The sequel to "Hand of Fate" is coming this November, which includes the fourth and final companion to be added onto the game.

"Hand of Fate 2" will be available on Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One X with a 4K resolution in just a few weeks, Heavy confirmed. Defiant Development had a press release to announce "Hand of Fate 2," where they described what followers of the game can expect from the sequel.

"Hand of Fate 2 once again challenges players to overcome trials built from collectible cards, handed out by the Dealer. Each card will test players with hack-and-slash combat, dangerous locales to explore, tense minigames, or Dungeons & Dragons-style decisions. A new map-based overworld allows players to discover and unlock those challenges in entirely new ways," the statement reads.

Aside from this, "Hand of Fate 2" is expected to come with several new features such as enhanced weapon types and additional fighting styles. There will also be new cards that will provide players a strong boost. New bosses and enemies to beat were also added to the sequel, along with fresh storylines to follow.

"Hand of Fate 2" also has a new companion, which is the game's final one to be added to their roster.

The fourth and final companion, the Indomitable Ariadne of Stiegal, is described as "A powerful melee warrior, Ariadne brings a keen blacksmith's eye to the battlefield, shattering the armor of even the sturdiest opponents. On the tabletop, her boundless optimism allows her to duplicate chance cards, dramatically improving the player's odds of success," says Defiant Development's post.

Ariadne of Stiegal will be properly introduced in the Strength Challenge in "Hand of Fate 2." But it is still possible to get acquainted with this companion beforehand in other adventures.

"Hand of Fate 2" will be available on Nov. 7 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox One X.
