'Homeland' Season 5 Episode 8 Spoilers – Will Carrie Escape Death As Allison Gets Caught?

The new episode of Season 5 of "Homeland" will see Carrie as a target in the sights of a sniper. Will it be Allison who sends Carrie to certain death or is it someone else? Meanwhile, has Saul decided to defect to Israel or is it an elaborate plan?

In the previous episode of "Homeland," viewers saw Allison having an extended anxiety attack after knowing that Carrie has the documents and she will soon be finding out a terrible secret about her. How will Allison deal with her imminent exposure? Ivan, the Russian, called her "Alichka" and said that she is the "greatest mole in United States history" and assures her that she will do the right thing.

Showtime has released a preview and two teasers.

The preview shows a lot of tense scenes. Carrie has no idea that Allison had ordered her death and unknowingly calls her up and asks for her help. Quinn is now in the thick of his mission to catch the Syrian Jihadi chief and is shown following his tracks as Etai and Saul meet about Saul's defection plan to Israel.

In the short teaser promo titled "Acrobat is Alive," Carrie calls up Allison and tells her that "the Acrobat" is alive and she has seen him. She asks Allison for help and they make plans to meet. Allison is relieved that Carrie still does not know her secret but is not far away from it.

The other teaser is a scene between Allison and Ivan as they wait for Carrie to call. Allison is jittery as she needs Carrie to call her first. She tells Ivan that Carrie has not called her yet to which a stoic Ivan responds by saying, "She'll call."

Allison has no way out except to kill Carrie and protect herself as she says, in a previous episode, that she does not want to go to prison for treachery. But anything might happen when they meet.

Catch the next episode of Season 5 of "Homeland" this Sunday on Nov. 22 on Showtime.
