'Honey Boo Boo' Dad Hospitalized: Will Test for Neurological Disorder After Passing Out (VIDEO)

"Honey Boo Boo" star Mama June reached out to friends and fans on Facebook earlier this week after it was revealed that her husband, "Sugar Bear," might be suffering from a neurological disorder.

Mama June revealed on Facebook Sunday that Mike Thompson, better known as "Sugar Bear," would be going to Jacksonville, Fla. for tests. It appears that Sugar Bear is suffering from some unknown condition.

"Will everyone plz keep sugarbear in our thought as we r leaving mcintrye to head to Jacksonville to the mayo clinic to see what they will say in the am we r all nervous to c what will b done with everything will update when we hear something," she wrote.

The reality star, made famous by her daughter Alana Thompson who was previously featured on a TLC pageant show, continued to update fans about her husbands statues. It appears that the family will have to spend at least a week away from home while tests are being conducted.

"Well we r back at the hotel after the neuro appt have to go back for more tests today and we will b here all week to run tests and more appts to get the right diagnosis and treatment sugarbear needs so will update more later," she wrote Monday.

A number of fans took to Facebook to offer support to the family. Mama June and her daughter, Honey Boo Boo, thanked fans with personal shout outs and photos. In her most recent post Tuesday, she noted that tests were continuing but appreciated prayers for her husband.

"Just wanted to say thanks for the prayers and concerns for sugar bear yall r awesome for all your support," she wrote.

Sugar Bear has suffered from other illnesses including diabetes and pancreatitis, but the family suspected something else might be wrong after he began to frequently pass out.
