Huawei Honor 7 News, Update: New Teaser Video Launched in China Ahead of Official Unveiling

Earlier this week, Chinese mobile and telecommunications company Huawei released an image for what appears to be its next flagship, the Honor 7. Now, a new promo video teases the device in action.

The device in question, which is the direct successor to last year's Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus, is revealed in the photo to arrive with a fingerprint scanner system and will officially be introduced to the public this June 30.

The said security system has, by the way, long been rumored to be the handset's upcoming feature ever since the company filed for a certification from TENAA.

Meanwhile, a video was launched by the manufacturer featuring yet again the Honor 7. Although the teaser was primarily presented in Chinese, it does however serve the purpose of showcasing the highly-anticipated device.

According to earlier rumors (via GSM Arena and Phone Arena), the Huawei Honor 7 will be hitting the shelves with metal build and specs. Sporting a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the device will arrive with an in-house-manufactured 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset, a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal memory storage.

The flagship is also said to boast a 13MP primary camera, a 3280mAh battery and is expected to run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box underneath Huawei's Emotion UI version 3.1.

It has also long been thought that the lineup will also introduce a premium version of the handset which could have a 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual lens rear camera and a Kirin 950 processor.
