Verizon is accepting pre-orders for the device on its official website.

The Rezound retails at $299.99 with a new two-year contract and $649.99 without an agreement. The carrier officially unveiled the device earlier this month.

Not only does it include Beats audio, but also boasts a 4.3-inch 720-by-1280 at 720p HD display, runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and Android Gingerbread upon its release.

HTC promises that the Rezound will upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich sometime early next year.

The device also includes 32 GB of internal storage, 1 GB of RAM and the latest version of HTC Sense. It also sports an 8-megapixel camera that comes with an F2.2 lens and records video in 1080p.

Another incentive for buying the Rezound is that the smartphone comes with a free pair Beats by Dre headphones that are customized to allow users to operate a remote control for answering calls and controlling the music player in the phone.

The phone also automatically tunes to the Beats headphones. HTC made a $300 million dollar investment in Beats Audio in August in to bring the company’s high quality sound to HTC devices.

It also allowed HTC to cut down on royalties paid to Dolby Audio.
