After Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald announced that they are expecting their first child, fans of the couple have been waiting to find out more about Jessa's pregnancy and the baby's gender.
In their pregnancy announcement, Jessa shared that she's hoping for a boy, while Ben teased that maybe they would have twins. Now, a new report claims that the "19 Kids and Counting" star and her husband are about to find out their baby's gender in a few weeks.
According to Radar Online, the couple spilled some secrets to fans they encountered on Monday, April 27 while filming at the Cross Church Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas.
"We heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time today!" Jessa said to a group of University of Arkansas sorority girls.
"At first they couldn't hear the heartbeat, the baby wasn't turned the right way or something like that," Ben added.
The site claims that Jessa went on to tell the students that the couple is planning to find out the baby's gender in May, but unlike her sister Jill, they don't want to host a big gender reveal party.
"We're actually thinking about keeping it a secret, like just Ben and I know, but we're not sure," said Jessa.
The 22-year-old is heading into her second trimester of pregnancy and she recently showed off her growing baby bump as she filmed her family's reality show in Springdale, Arkansas.
Last Sunday, Jessa took to Instagram to share an ultrasound picture of the baby, captioned, "Baby Seewald is growing! Already so in love with this person! #13Weeks- with @ben_seewald"
According to her post, the baby is currently three inches long and is the size of a peach.
Jessa is expected to give birth on Nov. 1.
