Katy Perry and John Mayer Back Together Again? Couple Spotted Holding Hands at Dinner Date

Are Katy Perry and John Mayer back together again?

According to an eyewitness from E! News, the "Roar" singer, who is taking a break from her highly successful "Prismatic" world tour, was spotted having dinner with Mayer at the brand-new West Hollywood hot spot Ysabel on Saturday, April 4. The website's source claims that the pair didn't shy away from acting like a couple in love and were very affectionate with one another.

The pair, reportedly joined by another couple for the outing, was said to be very cozy with one another and holding hands through the night, said the insider.

Back in January, the couple sparked rumors of a reconciliation when they were photographed heading off to dinner at a mutual friend's house in L.A. The couple first broke up back in February 2014. The 37-year-old and Perry were reportedly all smiles during the dinner party, and they were seen out together several times after.

Mayer and Perry were also seen enjoying drinks with a few friends, including Allison Williams at the Chateau Marmont. However, last month, it was reported that the couple broke up again.

While it was earlier reported that their latest breakup was caused by Perry's touring, another insider told E! that Mayer has been telling friends that he and the "Teenage Dream" singer are "over for good." Mayer reportedly said that the split was due to a "lack of emotional interest on his end." Moreover, the source claims that the singer-songwriter is telling his pals that he "fell out of love with Perry but will always love her."

Reps for Mayer and Perry have yet to comment on the reports.
