LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian Get Reality Show With 'Duck Dynasty' Producers

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian will soon be starring in their own reality TV show thanks to the producers of "Duck Dynasty." The pair's show, tentatively titled "LeAnn and Eddie" will air on VH1.

"Inside the sanctity of their world, Eddie and LeAnn are a typical normal modern family… a married couple, who both have careers and are also learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie's two sons," the press release from VH1 read.

Interestingly, there was no mention of Cibrian's ex-wife, the mother of his children, Brandi Glanville. She has her own reality series, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but plays a significant role in Eddie and LeAnn's relationship. She has made it very clear from the beginning that she does not approve of the relationship and would prefer if Rimes did not try to take her place as the boys' mother.

Glanville and Rimes have famously feuded or at the very least engaged in a battle of words over the co-parenting situation and, at times, Rimes' behavior as a stepmother. "LeAnn and Eddie" could reveal a new side to the relationship between the two women as it continues to play out.

"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are, or better yet, who we're really not," Rimes and Cibrian said in a joint statement. "We're thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys (producers of 'Duck Dynasty') to put our spin on a project full of love, humor, and music."

"Duck Dynasty" has become a smash hit on A&E and is almost always at the top of the charts with viewers. The down-home characters bring a unique story to TV, one that many people enjoy watching and learning about. Now the Gurneys are hoping to work their magic with these two celebrities.

"This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like – from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life," VH1 President Tom Calderone explained.

"LeAnn and Eddie" is scheduled to air in the fall or early 2014 on VH1.
