'Legends Of Tomorrow' Season 1 News, Spoilers: Cast And Crew Tease Love Triangle, Cast Shake-Ups; New Trailer Drops

The cast and crew of The CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" showed up on Easter Sunday at WonderCon, where they debuted a new trailer and fielded questions about the show's remaining episodes for its inaugural season.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim was joined onstage by cast members Brandon Routh (Atom/Ray Palmer), Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders), Caity Lotz (White Canary/Sara Lance), and Franz Drameh (Firestorm/Jax Jackson) during the final day of the convention at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The group kicked off the panel discussion with a trailer for the last few episodes of season 1.

The short clip features guest spots from Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) of "Arrow" and a young Quentin Lance. Ra's Al Ghul is there, as are his daughters Nyssa and Talia al'Ghul. The trailer also shows "Firefly" actress Jewel Staite's mystery character and "That Thing You Do!" actor Johnathon Schaech as the much-anticipated Jonah Hex.

Schaech will debut his character in the show's 11th episode, "The Magnificent Eight," which airs in mid-April.

The cast and crew of "Legends of Tomorrow" also dropped some hints about the remainder of the current season, saying that, for instance, Kendra and Ray's developing relationship will soon encounter a major obstacle. According to Guggenheim, as quoted by IGN, "Kendra's going to start remembering her past lives with Carter."

"In many ways, Ray is going to be competing with a dead man. It's a complicated situation," he explained.

Though the "Legends of Tomorrow" boss was unable to comment on the show's next season, he did say that fans will get a "definitive end" to season 1.

"You'll get an answer about whether or not the team succeeds to stop Vandal Savage," he said, as quoted by Comic Book Resources. "You'll get a resolution of the love triangle. You'll get to know more about what the Time Masters are up to. I don't think there are too many unanswered questions at the end of this season."

As for whether or not any new characters will be added to the team, Guggenheim said: "We have a couple of empty chairs on the Waverider. Anything's possible."

"Legends of Tomorrow" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
