'Legends of Tomorrow' Spoilers: In The Future Star City, There Will Be Two Green Arrows

The next episode of The CW's cross-over adventure series, "Legends of Tomorrow," this coming Thursday will be bringing the time-travelling team to the future Star City in the year 2046, where they will be meeting not just one, but two Green Arrows. According to a report in Tech Times, the team needs to work with the two Green Arrows to defeat Deathstroke, who is the designated bad guy in Arrowverse.

According to the report, the team is brought to the future Star City which is in disarray and chaos after they failed to stop Vandal Savage and his evil plans. In the trailer for the upcoming episode, the team not only meets a younger Green Arrow but also an older Green Arrow played by Stephen Amell. Amell is sporting a goatee in the trailer and is shown facing off with his archenemy, Deathstroke.

The younger Green Arrow is reportedly Connor Hawke, who in the DC comic storyline is the one who succeeded Oliver Queen as Green Arrow. In this version of the future in "Legends of Tomorrow," Connor Hawke is also said to be Oliver's son. In this particular episode, Hawke is portrayed by actor Joseph David-Jones.

"The Legends" seem to have their work cut out for them. They need to help Star City's heroes defeat Deathstroke, while at the same time, figure out a way to defeat Vandal Savage. This is no easy feat as Savage is immortal and only Hawkgirl can kill him. But fans can rest assured, according to the show's showrunner Marc Guggenheim, that Savage will only be around for the show's first season.

In an Entertainment Weekly report, Guggenheim said "Just like with the big bads on Arrow or Flash, they have their story with the beginning, middle, and end, and those stories are over at the end of the season, the same thing with Vandal. The Vandal Savage storyline will be resolved by the end of season 1."

"Legends of Tomorrow" airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. on The CW.
