LeTV's Next Smartphone Features Top Specs Like Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM

LeTV, otherwise known as Leshi Internet Information and Technology, is a Chinese company that specializes in entertainment, particularly online videos. Although the company is not as known as the other Chinese companies such as Xiaomi and Huawei, it considered to be one of the fastest growing smartphone manufacturers in the country, according to a report in Tech Times. The company's upcoming entry in the smartphone market may help the company make its mark, as the device is said to sport powerful specs that can rival any flagship phone.

In today's smartphone market, consumers who are always on the lookout for high-performing phones will likely give the LeTV Max Pro a second look. The device, which is still unannounced by LeTV, was recently listed with an AnTuTu benchmark indicating that it will have a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, an Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB of RAM.

The benchmark reportedly appeared on the Chinese blogging site Weibo, citing that the new phone called the LeTV Max Pro X910 will have 64 GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, it is also said to be equipped with a powerful 21 megapixel rear facing camera and a 4 megapixel UltraPixel front facing camera. Its display is a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.

In addition to these powerful specs, the device is also reported to come pre-installed with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system.

If these reports are true, the next logical step is for the device to go through TENAA certification. After TENAA, the phone may likely be announced or unveiled any time after that.

An earlier Tech Times report cited that LeTV was bringing its smartphone called Le Superphone to the U.S. market soon. It is however unclear in this recent report whether the phone listed as LeTV Max Pro is what LeTV will use to enter the U.S. market or if this phone will only be released in its home country in the meantime.

An official announcement from LeTV has yet to be made, however.
