Liv Becomes A 'Real Housewife' In The October 20 Episode Of 'iZombie'

The title of the next episode of "iZombie" to be aired on October 20 is "The Real Undead Wife Of Seattle" and it tells viewers straight on that it is a spoof of the "Real Housewives" reality shows. Liv becomes quite stylish as she imitates a dead trophy wife from Seattle whose murder she is investigating. From drinking Pinot Grigio and wearing the typical socialite stilettos, Liv is living the hi-fi life in this episode.

In Seattle, a socialite with time and money on her hands gets murdered by a hitman. In comes Liv, the zombie-detective who takes on the role of the "Real Housewife" with ease after she has consumed the brains of the poor trophy wife from Seattle to solve her murder.

Imitating the murdered woman, Liv goes the whole nine yards, flipping her hair every now and then, drinking the choicest of wines, the Pinot Grigio from long stemmed wine glasses, and wearing branded high heels.

In the promo, Liv cheerfully explains the difference between a walking shoe and a sitting shoe and comments breezily that it is "super cute" to a surprised Clive Babineaux who quips, "Am I driving Ms. Crazy?"

The episode is sure to have more such sparkling humorous moments like in the last episode, when Major gives Ravi the nickname of "Princess Sparkles." When Ravi shows up with full make-up on, lipstick and face glitter no less, Major takes one look at him and asks in his droll manner, "So you know I'm referring to your beard as Princess Sparkles from now on, right?"

There are some serious moments though because in this episode, Liv's best friend, Peyton, who fans will recall had just upped and vanished from the house after she discovers to her horror that Liv has turned into a brain-eating zombie, returns.

Last episode had some tender moments between Liv and Major. It was good to see them together even though Major has a lot of resentment against Liv. Viewers see Major's vulnerable side when, in a drugged state, he finds solace with Liv, expressing his deepest fear and wish, saying, "I won't let anything happen to you," to which Liv quips, "And I won't shave your eyebrows."

Is it possible that Major has turned into this zombie-killer because he loves Liv and wants to protect her?

The episode 'Real Dead Housewives of Seattle' of the second season of "iZombie" will air on The CW on October 20 at 9PM EST.
