MLB Playoffs 2015 Live Stream: How to Watch Houston Astros vs Kansas City Royals Online (FS1 Preview)

Thursday is a huge day in the MLB 2015 Playoffs as two big games take place in the American League. First up will be the Texas Rangers vs Toronto Blue Jays in Game 1 of their ALDS at 3.30 p.m. ET. Later on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. ET there will be the Houston Astros vs Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of their ALDS. Both games can be watched on FS1, or online through live stream (details below).

The Rangers go on the road for Game 1 to the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Where as the Royals will be hosting the Astros at the Awing M. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

The ALDS is a shorter series with the winner of a best of 5 series going through to the next round of the Playoffs. That means there is all the more at stake in Game 1 and it is huge to get the first win on the board for the teams.

That also means that any mistakes will be less forgiving, as there is less time and less games for teams to make up for mistakes that ultimately cause losses. So both teams, and especially their pitchers will be under immense pressure today.

Both the Rangers and the Blue Jays come into the postseason on the back of a good run in to the regular season. Both will have been happy with the momentum they have built coming into the Playoffs, however, only one will be able to continue that momentum any further than this series.

Most pundits believe that the Blue Jays have the edge for this series, and will ultimately come out on top, however, the Playoffs and the pressure involved often ensure that things don't always turn out how experts predict.

Meanwhile, later on Thursday the Kansas City Royals will be looking to assert themselves as the clear favorites in their American League Division Series against the Astros.

Of course, Houston only make it through to the ALDS via the Wild Card game, defeating the New York Yankees earlier this week to progress. But that one game winner takes all victory will have provided the Astros with a feel good feeling and a lot of confidence in the dressing room, and they will look to continue that into today's game and this series.

Both games today in the MLB 2015 Playoffs can be watched on the FS1 network, but can also be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
