'Modern Family' Season 7 Episode 6 Spoilers: Show Returns With New Episode After Brief Hiatus

ABC's hit family drama TV series "Modern Family" Season 7 went on a brief hiatus after its last airing on Oct. 21. The show didn't even go on air for the Halloween. To treat the fans on that holiday, the network opted to offer a replay of Season 6's Halloween special titled "Awesome Land."

This week, however, followers will get to watch a brand new episode that will surely send avid viewers in a fit of laughter as well as contemplate on issues based on real-life family matters.

The episode, which is called "The More You Ignore Me," is expected to see the Dunphys getting into all kinds of trouble - for instance, Luke, who will reportedly be arrested for driving without a license. Although the latter's behavior doesn't come off as an utter surprise, Alex's case, however, will be a shocking one as it is said in the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic that she will spotted and caught by her parents while she tries to sneak out of a liquor store.

It appears to be out of character for the close-to-nerd, rule-abiding Dunphy girl to be seen in that kind of establishment. Needless to say, it remains to be seen if she's there to secretly buy the liquor for herself or if someone is telling her to do it. Knowing that she's already in college, it can be assumed that this is just another one of those peer pressure issues.

In the side of the Pritchetts, the summary from TFC said that the family will be having all sorts of reasons to celebrate and feel good about themselves. For one, there's Gloria who is about to put on sale her hot sauce which was made from a special family recipe. It is Cam who will urge the homemaker to recreate the condiment and market it. Jay, on the other hand, is about to receive an award from the Titans of Industry.

In other developments, Haley and Dylan will run into Andy and Beth at the movies which leads to some awkward moments.

Find out how these events unfold when "Modern Family" Season 7 airs this Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
