'Mr. Robot' Season 1 News, Spoilers: Elliot's Inner War Threatens Fsociety's Mission

Things are getting more exciting as the freshman season of the must-see TV series "Mr. Robot" moves on this week with episode titled "eps1.3_da3m0ns.mp4."

If viewers could remember, the last episode saw Elliot (Rami Malek) finally joining fsociety and it seems like the techy vigilantes are in for some major hacking activity.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode said via Carter Matt said that "fsociety hits the road to initiate world-changing hack." However, Elliot's "inner demons" might pose a threat to sabotage the group's plans. It remains to be seen what kind of secrets or mental battles Elliot has to go through that could put the entire project in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, Malek was joined by Christian Slater, the actor who plays Mr. Robot, at the show's panel in San Diego Comic-Con International.

Speaking to Collider.com Slater revealed that the USA scripted program is depicting true-to-life hacking scenes. These were made possible with the help of experts in the field whose identities are being kept secret.

Malek also said that executive producer Sam Esmail really wanted the show to be authentic and has actually talked to actual hackers to probably work with the show in Season 2.

The actor, in a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, went on to say that "everything is so strategically placed in every episode" of the show.

"All you can do is look back on the episode you watched to garner more information about the future," he said.

"Mr. Robot" Season 1 Episode 4 airs this Wednesday, July 15, at 10 p.m. on USA.
