The New York Yankees and the Houston Astros have a quick turnaround for Game 2 of their MLB Playoffs 2017 American League Championship Series, as they go head to head on Saturday afternoon. Game 1 ended with the Houston Astros taking an early lead in the series, but the Yankees will be hoping to bounce back and level things up today with a win.

The game has a scheduled start time of 4.08 p.m. ET and takes place again from Minute Maid park in Houston, Texas. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream (details below).

Game 2 will see the Astros send their second ace pitcher out to the mound, Justin Verlander, as they look to capitalize on their victory on Friday night and go 2-0 up.

However, the Yankees will hand the ball to starter Luis Severino in the hopes of leveling the series back to 1-1.

Friday night saw the Astros grab the win in Game 1 of this ALCS with Dallas Keuchel handing out a tough night for the Yankees batters. Keuchel shut down the New York hit men for seven innings, and even though the Yankees managed to claim one home run at the end of the ninth inning, it was a situation of too little, too late for them.

The Yankees had managed to get themselves in a few situations where they could have potentially scored, but they were unable to see them through, and against this Astros team they will have to take their chances if they are to claim the pennant and make their way through to the 2017 World Series.

Verlander pitched out of the bullpen on Monday, and he will make his way to the mound for Game 2, going up against Severino, who was actually terrible in the Wild Card game for the Yankees, but excellent in the ALDS. Which Severino will turn up for today's game; the Yankees will be hoping the latter.

New York have already revealed their pitching order, and will turn to CC Sabathia for Game 3 and Sonny Gray for Game 4.

It is highly likely that the Yankees will continue with that order through the series, which means Tanaka is likely to come out as the Game 5 starter, Severino will get Game 6 and Sabathia will return for Game 7 if it goes all the way.

Tonight's big Game 2 of this MLB Playoffs 2017 AL Championship Series between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros has a scheduled start time of 4.08 p.m. ET, and can be watched on TV on the Fox network, or online through live stream on Fox Sports Go.
