Oculus Rift PC Bundles Pre-Orders Available

As announced earlier this month, Oculus Rift bundles are now available for pre-order. The bundle includes the VR device and a compatible PC.

The Oculus Rift PC bundles are currently limited to three desktop PC brands. Those interested in buying the VR device and a PC that will work with it can choose from ASUS, Dell, and Alienware.

The bundle starts at $1,500 and goes upward to $3,000, depending on the particular PC model buyers have their eye on.

Oculus Rift + ASUS Oculus Ready G11CD-WS51 Desktop PC Bundle

The least expensive of these bundle features an ASUS PC. Currently priced at $1,499, buyers can save $1,479 on this particular Oculus Rift bundle. The ASUS Oculus Ready G11CD-WS51 Desktop PC features an Intel core i5 6400 clocking in at 2.7 GHz. It has 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card.

Oculus Rift Virtual-Reality Headset & ASUS G20CB-B15 Desktop Package

The midrange offerings include this bundle with ASUS G20CB-B15 PC. It's currently on sale for $2,199.98, with $100 discount. The PC features an Intel i7-6700 core, 16 GB memory, 1 TB HDD, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card.

Oculus Rift VR Headset + Dell Alienware Area-51 Signature Edition Desktop Bundle

This is the most expensive bundles. With its price currently set at $3,149 at the Microsoft Store, buyers get $199 savings. The bundle includes a powerful Alienware PC with Intel Core i7-58020K, 8 GB memory, 2 TB HDD, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card, and of course, the Oculus Rift VR headset.

Those interested can pre-order the Oculus Rift PC bundles from Amazon, Best Buy, or the Microsoft Store. Pre-orders come with an Oculus remote, an Xbox One controller, and free games such as "EVE: Valkyrie" and "Lucky's Tale." The bundles are scheduled to ship on April 25.
