Meanwhile, the Pelicans are clearly struggling to get wins as they are at 1-10 so far this season.

They have lost four consecutive games and have the second to the worst record in the league – only beaten by the 0-11 Philadelphia 76ers.

Despite having great performances from Anthony Davis, the Pelicans are clearly missing the services of Omer Asik who is on a minutes restriction and Tyreke Evans who can be a boost in the guard position.

Ryan Anderson is also a viable option for points for New Orleans but the Pelicans need a complete game with role players performing if they want to consistently get wins and get back to the playoff picture despite it being early in the season.
