OnePlus is reportedly set to unveil its new smartphone, the OnePlus Mini, before the year ends and already, the device's specs have hit the Internet.

After rumors emerged online about the AnTuTu benchmark of what was allegedly the OnePlus Mini after it supposedly scored 54,311 points, rumored specs of OnePlus' upcoming device have been circulating online.

While OnePlus has yet to comment or even confirm the information that's been spreading about its new smartphone, spec details from the prototype spotted getting benchmarked point to the device sporting a 5-inch 1080p resolution LCD panel touchscreen display protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass.

The phone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset, which will be accompanied by a 2.2 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor supported by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD.

While earlier talk pegged the OnePlus Mini as having a dual camera setup, current hints suggest there will be a single 13MP main camera at the rear equipped with a Sony IMX258 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture, as well as a dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording. Its front-facing camera, meanwhile, will have a 5MP sensor and a wide angle lens to accommodate groufies.

Carrying a 3,100mAh battery chargeable via a USB Type C port equipped with Quick Charge 2.0, the OnePlus Mini will feature a fingerprint sensor at the back, an FM radio, an IR Blaster, and 1.2W front-facing speaker grilles. Covered in a plastic shell, the device is said to have an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

The OnePlus Mini will reportedly cost $250 when it is finally released by next month or by December at the latest.

While the OnePlus One and OnePlus Two were made available for purchase via special invitation, there has been no word on whether the OnePlus Mini will also be offered for sale via this method.
