'Pretty Little Liars' Season 5 News, Spoilers: Sneak Peeks Reveal Details of 'Oh, What Hard Luck Stories They All Hand Me'
Several sneak peeks for this week's showing of the hit teen drama series "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 indicated the Liars are trying to figure out how to deal with Ali, who is now bound for trial, and Mike Montgomery (Cody Allen Christian) might have some answers about the mystery surrounding Mona's death.
A report from IBTimes cited a footage for PLL's upcoming episode titled "Oh, What Hard Luck Stories They All Hand Me" where Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) was seen having a serious conversation with Emily (Shay Mitchell) about the new girl Talia (Miranda Ray Mayo) as well as the situation with Ali.
"Ali is going on trial for murder. She is trying to bring us all down with her and I keep trying to figure out if a girl is flirting with me," Emily told Caleb.
"Well, in the middle of the war, you have to remember what you are fighting for," Caleb replied. He then points out the confusion that has been going on with Emily's mind and then tells her that everything "makes perfect sense."
Yet another preview reveals that Aria's (Lucy Hale) little brother might have some information that could help them unravel the mysteries behind Mona's death.
Chatting with her sister, Mike told Aria the list of movies that Mona wanted him to watch.
"I think she remembered every movie she ever saw, and not just the plot," the younger Montgomery said. "Details. All these little details, it was amazing."
"She was very smart," Aria replied.
"Too smart," Mike concurred in a way that makes Aria contemplate whether or not his brother has known something.
Speaking with People, writer Joseph Doughtery previously informed the publication that Mike possibly holds some answers about the deceased.
"I think it's a little overdue, but Mike has got some secrets that he hasn't shared, and the nature of his relationship with Mona and some of the private secrets they shared together are going to be pretty key to what people are going to see in the next 12 weeks," the writer told Enstarz.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 episode 18 airs this Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
