'Rainbow Six Siege' DLC News: Second DLC Brings Two Navy Seals Operators

At the PAX East conference, during the Rainbow Six Pro League finals, developer Ubisoft revealed what's in store for gamers when the second DLC for "Rainbow Six Siege" drops in early May. According to a Tech Times report, two new characters or operators will be joining the team this time around and both will be operators coming from the Navy Seals.

Name Blackbeard and Valkyrie, they play offensive and defensive roles respectively. Valkyrie is the Defender character whose weapon is a powerful SPAS-12 shotgun. One of her abilities is to equip any surface with cameras that stick on any surface, thereby giving her teammates useful video information for better coordination of movements and attacks. Blackbeard on the other hand is an Attacker character. His weapon has a shield mounted on it, which makes him the perfect operator to lead a team attack. He also sports a Desert Eagle rifle as his weapon.

Aside from these new characters however, not much is known about "Operation Dust Line." What is definite is that the DLC will be arriving much later as the first DLC also experienced a delay in its release. According to another report in IGN, more information about the second DLC will be shared on May 7, a few days before its release date on May 9.

The Tech Times report also cited that the second DLC pack will bring the team to an operation in the Middle East, based on the artwork found on the game's website. Like any content update, gamers are also expecting new maps, bug fixes and improvements in gameplay with the second update.

Season Pass holders will be receiving the new operators on the week of May 9. After Operation Dust Line, there will be two more major expansion packs coming to the game which is part of the game's Season Pass.
