'Riverdale' Season 1 Return Date, Spoilers: More Family Feuds and Secrets Revealed at Show's Return

Jason Blossom's (Trevor Stines) murder may have been the main mystery that opened up The CW's teen drama series "Riverdale." But as the series progresses, and a lot of the founding families' dramas are revealed, it gradually started to seem like he may have been nothing more than a dispensable accessory to a much bigger threat.

"Riverdale" will be going on a brief spring hiatus, but when it returns, it will continue laying on mysteries surrounding the once quaint and innocent town of Riverdale. In the episode titled "The Outsiders," Fred (Luke Perry) stands to lose face and his entire livelihood when just before construction starts for his newly acquired project, he loses his entire crew.

Wanting to help his old man out, Archie (KJ Apa) will enlist his friends to pitch in and help however way they can. But the younger Andrews' plan is also put in jeopardy when one of them is attacked. And when they seek to set things straight and end up in Southside Serpent territory, they end up discovering Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) most guarded secret: that his father, FP (Skeet Ulrich), is a member of the notorious biker gang. How will this revelation change Jughead's life? Will his friends be accepting enough to stay by his side, or will some of them choose to stay away and out of trouble, either of their own will or at the behest of their parents?

The official trailer for the next episode also shows Hermione (Marisol Nichols) revealing the long-standing feud between the Blossoms and the Coopers to her daughter Veronica (Camila Mendes). She and Betty (Lili Reinhart) will also be throwing a baby shower for the latter's sister Polly (Tiera Skovbye) in an attempt to make her feel better. But things could go south fast when people who are not really in good terms with each other meet and clash at the party.

"Riverdale" season 1 episode 8 airs on Thursday, March 30 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
