'Rocket League: Chaos Run' DLC Pack To Feature Two New Vehicles & A New Map Called Wasteland

The all new, Apocalypse-themed DLC of "Rocket League" named "Chaos Run" will be coming out in December. The DLC will not only have 'Mad Max' type of vehicles but will also have features and items that are 'end of the civilized world' goodies.

The two new vehicles that are being added are the battle-cars Ripper and Grog. With two new rocket trails, "Sandstorm" and "Nuts and Bolts," fans are going to have a blast playing football in a post-apocalyptic world.

To go with the 'end of the civilized world' scenario, the "Chaos Run" will also have two new paint types, Camo (for camouflaging) and Sun-Damaged.

Developer Psyonix says that the paid DLC, which will cost players $4, will have a new free arena – Wasteland.
'Wasteland' was also the name of the field that featured in the original "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars."

Psyonix has described Wasteland as "physically-wider than all other stadiums and has a completely-dissimilar Boost placement. The biggest difference, though, is that the ground itself is sloped around the entire perimeter of the arena, making for matches that feel much different than typical Rocket League contests."

It further said that many such "unusual" arena designs will be introduced in the future for "Rocket League."

"Rocket League" is the surprise hit of 2015. This soccer and cars mashup game has had 2 DLCs and a few noteworthy events. The game's first DLC pack, named "Supersonic Fury," was released on August 2015 while its second DLC named "Revenge of the Battle-Cars" was released in October, 2015. Besides that, it has had a Halloween event and an event commemorating the film "Back to the Future" to name a few.

The "Rocket League: Chaos Run" DLC will also be adding several other 'free' items and will have new music from Kevin Riepl, the one who had given music for Psyonix's Nosgoth.

Some new garage items will also be coming out and Psyonix has advised players to stay tuned to additional announcements about "Rocket Laegue" that will be coming up over the next few weeks.
