Smash Director Kicked Out of House for McPhee Kiss; Wife Furious at Michael Morris Infidelity (VIDEO)

Smash director, Michael Morris, has been thrown out his house after photos emerged recently of him kissing the show's star Katharine McPhee.

Morris' wife, actress Mary McCormack, has reportedly thrown him out of their Los Angeles home on Sunday night, after the photos of him kissing McPhee went public.

The photos have sparked a firestorm around the Smash director, and reports have also claimed that the director attempted to buy the photos himself to stop them going public and to keep things secret.

However, his attempts obviously failed, and the photos were published by celebrity website TMZ recently showing him together with McPhee in a Hollywood parking lot.

McPhee only apparently found out about the photos when they went public on Monday, according to her friends. A source reportedly close to the actress told TMZ: "Katharine didn't know about the photos in advance. She only saw them on Monday when they were emailed to her."

"Mary threw Michael out of the house on Sunday night when he told her that TMZ had the photos and that they were about to be released," said the insider.

Morris' wife has been left angry and devastated by the infidelity, and despite them having three children together, it is now reported she wants a divorce from him.

A source told Life & Style: "They have three daughters, so it's incredibly sad. He wants to keep the family together, but as far as Mary is concerned, it's over. There's no going back."

McPhee, 29, is also still married, but has been separated from her husband, Nick Cokas, 47, for months. They were married in 2008, but their marriage has not survived more than a few years.
