Steam's Free Weekend Game Now Available

Boss Key Productions' first-person shooter video game "LawBreakers" is currently available for free on Steam.

PC Gamers will be able to play "LawBreakers" for free but for only a limited time. The free trial went live starting on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. ET and it will be last until Monday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. ET.

Players who will access the game this weekend will be eligible to win a giveaway, that is if they meet the necessary criteria. News gamers who can play 50 matches will be able to enroll in the Base Game Code Giveaway. They must use a valid email address when they sign up to be eligible.

Existing users who will play the same number of matches during the Free Weekend will also be given a chance to enroll in the Stash Drops giveaway. Those who are residing outside of the U.S. and Canada, except for Quebec, are eligible to win in-game Stash Drops.

Winners will be chosen randomly, 100 of them. The list of winners should be posted on Monday, Oct. 2 at 8 a.m. PDT. Recipients of the giveaways should receive their rewards by Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. PDT.

Each of the winners from the existing users' category should receive 24 Stash Drops each.

Though only PC gamers can enjoy the free trial, Steam has also something up its sleeve for PlayStation 4 owners.

Steam is currently offering a 25 percent discount on the title. The standard edition of "LawBreakers" is now priced at $22.49 on Steam. The promo will last until Tuesday, Oct. 3. The Deadzo Deluxe edition, which comes with exclusive DLC items, and character and weapons skins, will be available for $29.98 also until Tuesday.

Steam will make "LawBreakers" free to download and play on PC's until Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. Et.
