'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 19 Spoilers: The Winchesters Face off Against Aliens

After a brief hiatus, the CW's hit TV series "Supernatural" Season 11 returns to the airwaves with a brand new episode that is expected to see the Winchester brothers facing off with an enemy that is not of this earth. How will the siblings fare against these aliens?

Spoiler alert for those who missed Episode 18 "Hell's Angel," Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) realized that for them to defeat the Darkness, they must employ a Hand of God and that it must be wielded by someone chosen by God himself. Lucifer, who is still in the body of Castiel (Misha Collins) grabbed the Horn of Joshua. Unfortunately, it didn't work on Amara (Emily Swallow).

In this week's episode 19 titled "The Chitters," the synopsis from The Futon Critic said that the bros will be heading over to a small town of Colorado to investigate in a case concerning the disappearance of many people. What makes the case interesting is that the abduction happens only every 27 years. Their adventure will enable them to meet two supernatural hunters like them who have some personal vendetta against these "once-in-a-generation monsters."

One thing to notice about the TFC summary is that it didn't mention Amara, Lucifer/Castiel, Rowena (Ruth Connell) or those characters related to the main storyline. It would be safe to assume that the show will be having this segment as a breather.

A promo video from the network teases some of the exhilarating moments that are to be expected in the new episode. The clip shows some weird looking entities terrorizing the town. They have green-colored eyes and they can be seen attacking the people. The townsfolk named them as The Chitters, hence the title of the episode. Towards the end of the clip, a scene shows Dean getting attacked by one of the "aliens."

Find out how these events unfold when "Supernatural" Season 11 returns this Wednesday, Apr. 27, at 9 on The CW.
