Gearbox Software, Telltale Games, 2K and The Hyperion Corporation are bringing the whole game — all five episodes — to a shiny disc format you can buy in stores!," 2K Games said in its announcement on Thursday, Feb. 18.

"Tales from the Borderlands" on disc will be available first in Australia and New Zealand on April 21. It will hit Europe next on April 22 and will be available for PS4 and Xbox One. The series is currently running for "Excellence in Narrative" award at SXSW. It was also nominated for "Best Narrative" award at The Game Awards 2015. "Tales from the Borderlands" previously won Hardcore Gamer's "Best of the Year" award last year, as well as IGN's "Best Adventure Game of the Year," "Xbox 360 Game of the Year," "PS3 Game of the Year, " and "Best Performances of 2015."

The highly acclaimed episodic point-and-click title is a spin-off of developer Gearbox's "Borderlands" first-person shooter game. "Tales from the Borderlands" takes Rhys, Fiona, and Handsome Jack from the "Borderlands" franchise and puts them in another narrative-heavy series where a player's every decision will affect the story.

The first "Tales from the Borderlands" episode was in November 2014. The rest of the episodes released throughout the next year, specifically in March, June, August, and October. It was originally launched for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Microsoft Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android.
