Tamar Braxton Says Son Doesn't Like Her Music

Tamar Braxton may be a famous singer-songwriter, but the mother of 8-month-old Logan Vincent Herbert is revealing that her son is not a fan of her singing.

Braxton and her music executive husband Vince Herbert had their first child last June. However, the 36-year-old singer admitted that her son reacted negatively to her music both while she was pregnant and recently.

"He doesn't [care for] singing that much," she explained to People. "When I was pregnant with him, I recorded my album and he used to ball up real hard. And he does the same thing-- just stares at me, like, 'What are you doing?'"

The mother went on to detail some of the milestones that her son was experiencing.

"He won't crawl, but he'll stand all by himself. I just don't get it," she explained. " I'm ready for him to crawl so I can have him crawl around the bed and pick him up and do all that cutesy stuff, but he refuses. He's very insubordinate-- just like his dad."

Still, Braxton admitted that she loved motherhood.

"I had no idea I would love motherhood. I thought that I didn't want [any] kids," she told the publication. "I almost missed out on the best thing that ever happened to me."

However, she did not initially feel this way. The singer came forward to reveal that jealousy and confusion set in for her before the joyful motherhood experience.

"I was in shock and it took me a few days to come to terms with the fact that I am a mom and this is my baby. I was questioning my motherhood," she revealed on GMA last year. "Is this a mistake that God made. Is this something I should hand over to my husband, because he connected with the baby instantly. And I was jealous pretty much."

Shortly after, the new mother insists that her baby is nothing short of a blessing from God.

"When he finally latched on [while breastfeeding], I felt like, He got me and I got him and this was all meant to be," she said on GMA. "I am very happy. I feel complete. He is the best thing that ever happened to me."
