'The Amazing Race' Season 30 News: 'Big Brother' Couple Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf Joins Show

Former marine soldier Cody Nickson and VIP waitress Jessica Graf, who were house guests in "Big Brother" season 19, will be back on the television screens soon as they have just signed up to become contestants in the upcoming 30th season of CBS' long-running reality series, "The Amazing Race."

After falling in love in the recently concluded reality show, they are about to jump into another adventure together.

According to Graf, she was driving home when she received a phone call in which the casting crew for "The Amazing Race" asked if she and Nickson would be interested in joining the show after their stint in "Big Brother" season 19.

When she said yes, Graf was then told that someone would go to her house in an hour to pick up her passport and that she would be leaving in two weeks.

"I was floored. I figured it wouldn't be for at least a couple of months," she admitted to The Hollywood Reporter. "It all just happened so fast that I had to force myself to stop and take a second to process the information! Cody was still in jury sequester and we didn't even get any time to really talk about it. We're just diving right into another project and it's extremely exciting!" she added.

She also said that "The Amazing Race" would be something that Nickson is going to excel in, especially with his background as a marine soldier, and that she might let him take the lead this time.

Nickson, on the other hand, expressed that as long as Graf wanted to be on the show, then he would be "cool with it."

In other news, filming for "The Amazing Race" season 30 has just begun. CBS and the show's host, Phil Keoghan, recently have taken to social media to announce the show's official start.

The network invited the show's fans to watch the start of the new season last Sunday, Oct. 1, at Washington Square Park.

While the filming has already kicked off, CBS has not yet revealed the official premiere date. However, "The Amazing Race" season 30 is expected to arrive some time in the spring.
