'The Blacklist' Season 4 News: Series Star Ryan Eggold Drops Details on New Season and 'Redemption' Spinoff
Cast member Ryan Eggold, who plays the role of Tom Keen in NBC's hit crime drama TV series "The Blacklist," is currently missing in action during the Season 3 finale. With the character is baby Agnes, his daughter with the Megan Boone's fan-favorite Elizabeth Keen.
According to recent casting reports, this Season 4 of the James Spader-starrer series, Tom will return to spill more details on what has really transpired in the previous episodes. Moreover, the former operative is also expected to appear in the show's highly anticipated spin off, "The Blacklist: Redemption."
As to how this would happen, Eggold said in an interview with Today that the writers are already "figuring it out."

"I think we're going to try to go back and forth and focus on the spinoff while staying involved with the show. They're going to, I think, built sort of a bigger mythology between the two shows, which could open up the world and make it kind of fun if you're a Blacklist fan," he said.
Of course, he will still play a big part in "Blacklist" and will likely to appear in the Season 4 premiere. This would still be possible since "Redemption" won't commence until the later part of the 2016-2017 season.
Eggold told TVLine that his alter ego will be in the number of the beginning episodes of the next installment.
"It will partly be to send us down the trajectory of this new series, and for the characters, we'll find out what happens between Tom and Liz and what happens with this baby girl they both share. What is the future of that? We're going to deal with that in the beginning of season 4 and then make our way to a brand-new series," he explained to the media outlet.
It has been reported earlier that viewers will finally get to see the life story of Tom Keen, whose real name is Christopher Hargrave. It would be interesting to learn more of Tom and his relationship with his family and how, in the first place, he got wind up inside the circle of crime.
