The Boys Take Up Fencing, Stuart & Barry Ask Amy Out In Oct. 19 Episode Of 'The Big Bang Theory'
In Episode 4 of "The Big Bang Theory" titled, "The Perspiration Implementation" which airs on October 19, Barry, a fencing instructor asks Amy out in the presence of a horrified Sheldon. Leonard finally takes the big leap across the hall and moves in with wife Penny. The boys take up an unlikely sport, fencing, this week.
In the previous episode, Sheldon wonders if Chris Pratt could be had as a flat mate. Viewers thought that maybe the Jurassic World star would be appearing for a cameo. The scene of Leonard giving back the flat keys to Sheldon after all these seasons was very emotional. But the makers of the show didn't tread the 'feelings path' and viewers are chuckling again when Leonard is still all over Sheldon's space.
Left alone, Sheldon finally realizes that Leonard is gone and there is no flatmate. He tries to pretend that it is 2003.

In this episode, Sheldon and Amy will move on and will start dating other people. The seeds of this new plot line are thrown in this episode titled, "The Perspiration Implementation." A situation arises when Barry Kripke, the boys' fencing instructor, asks Amy out in the presence of Sheldon. This puts Sheldon in a spot.
The official synopsis reads: "The guys take a fencing lesson from Barry Kripke and Sheldon finds himself in an awkward position when Kripke expresses interest in Amy. Also, when Stuart struggles to get female customers at the Comic Book Store, Penny, Amy and Bernadette come by to help him out, on The Big Bang Theory."
"Prepare yourself for a rigorous touching," is what Barry the instructor suggests to the boys who signed up for a fencing lesson only to find that he is their fencing teacher. Viewers will recall that Barry and Sheldon don't see eye to eye on almost everything and they're old foes.
A spoiler report says that after Barry finds out about the Sheldon-Amy break-up, he asks Amy out and that certainly doesn't make Sheldon happy. Stuart also asks Amy out. Amy declines both invitations though and it is her turn to feel upset when Sheldon tells her he has been attempting to have dates with other women.
The fifth episode of Season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory" airs on October 19.
