'The Good Place' Season 2 Plot Rumors: Newcomer Luke Guldan Teases 'Great Stuff' Happening in Finale

"The Good Place" season 2 has aired three episodes, and so far, it looks like the show is back to its enjoyable mischievous antics.

After the freshman season ending with a jaw-dropping twist, wherein it was revealed that the afterlife Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell) actually fell into The Bad Place instead of getting sent to The Good Place, the comedy series started right where it left off during its two-part fall premiere.

Now, fans are curious how this season is going to play out and what will make it even better than the first one, considering that it was quite an impressive pilot season.

In a recent interview with International Business Times, Luke Guldan, who plays the new soulmate of Bell's character, revealed what fans can expect from the current season of "The Good Place" and how it is going to end.

When asked how season 2 can top the twist in the previous season's ending, he said: "It starts right where it left off -- so high stakes right from the beginning for Michael to succeed and keeping up with the illusion of The Good Place."

Michael (Ted Danson) was the one who sent Eleanor to The Good Place, which is a heaven-like utopia that he had designed, as a reward for the kind of life she lived. However, as time went by, Eleanor realized that she seemed to be in the wrong place, having to force herself to hide the imperfections in her behavior just so she could fit in.

Although Guldan could not give out major plot details that would lead to the season finale, and how the finale is going to top last year's installment, he added, "I haven't seen the entire season yet but I heard some great stuff about this year's season finale too!"

He also shared what it has been like working with Bell, and called her "hilarious and so much fun to work with."

"The Good Place" airs on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. EDT on NBC.
