Davina's Fate is Still Uncertain on 'The Originals' Season 4
The most recent season of "The Originals" presented a lot of surprises for fans when the Mikaelsons faced some trouble. It showed the unfortunate situation Davina (Danielle Campbell), which had many viewers wondering if she will still be seen in the upcoming season.
The Fate of Davina
Campbell was able to speak to TV Line about her character's fate. She explained that currently, her future is still uncertain since the producers and writers of the series are still trying to create the storyline for "The Originals" Season 4. This means that there is still a chance that she will be alive, depending on what direction the writers take.

She also said that it was hard to say goodbye to the cast, since it is still not certain whether her character is actually dead. However, she hinted that if her death was final, a certain character from the series will have a hard time accepting it.
Campbell revealed, "Kol, for sure, though it's also going to be hard on Marcel. They were part of each other's family for so long, and even though Marcel is also considered to be part of Klaus' family, he chose to be part of Davina's family. I think it's going to be really hard for him."
Campbell on Cami's Death
Though Davina's fate is still uncertain, Campbell was able to share her sentiments on Cami's death, which was shown in the previous season of "The Originals." She commended the writers on how they showed Cami's death.
She said, "In her last dying moments, they made you love her that much more. There was such a good contrast with her laying on her death bed but also being in the dream sequence with Klaus. That was so beautiful, and Leah [Pipes] did such a great job. She really killed it."
Who Else Could Return?
Meanwhile, another character could be returning to the series. Claire Holt, who plays the role of Rebekah Mikaelson, teased that she could be back for the next season of "The Originals." She said, "We sort of left it open ended at the end of last season. If all goes to plan, Rebekah will be back."
"The Originals" Season 4 is expected to return to the small screan sometime in 2017.
