'The Strain' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Dr. Goodweather Travels to Washington DC to Seek Help With His Discovery
The latest season of FX's hit horror drama TV series "The Strain" proved to be filled with intense developments as the fight against the Strigoi and the Master continues.
Spoiler alert for those who missed last week's episode titled "The Silver Angel," Dr. Eph and Nora has finally proven that their infection plan really worked. In fact, the segment showed that the Master was somewhat worried of the "infection" that he decided to make the infected vampires commit suicide before the rest of his undead horde will be contracted.
This discovery prompted Eph to make the operation go to a large scale. This can be done by going to the nation's capital and ask that the "anti-vampire virus" will be weaponized.
In the upcoming episode, titled "Quick and Painless," it is indicated that Dr. Goodweather will travel to Washington without his trusted friend, colleague, and lover, Nora. However, before he embarks on the trip, Eph will be altering his appearance in a major way.
With good news comes bad news. Last episode also saw Fet getting apprehended by the authorities for loitering beyond the curfew hours. He was found blowing up the Red Hook subway tunnel in hopes to cut off the main travel route of the Strigois.
Coming to his rescue are Dutch and Nora, who are going to meet with the councilwoman from Staten Island to make a deal with her in exchange for Fet's release.
A promo clip for the forthcoming segment also revealed that the Professor is still continuing his search for the Occido Lumen. Getting his hands on the book will eventually empower him in quest to defeat the Master.
Catch more of the action when "The Strain" Season 2 airs this Sunday, Aug. 9, at 10 p.m. on FX.
