'The Voice' Season 7 Live Stream, NBC Start Time: Recap From Monday's Show, Tuesday Preview for Tonight
Premiere episode of "The Voice" Season 7 opened up with new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharell Williams along with the veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton performing a cover of No Doubt's "Hella Good."
Gwen and Blake on the vocals, Pharrell on the drums, and Adam on guitar, they surely rocked the stage.
Of course, the show's iconic "Blind Auditions" segment features a number of hopefuls who vie to take a slot in each of the coaches' team. The contestants who were being "turned to" are as follows:
- Clara Hong – sung Rickie Lee Jones' "Chuck E's In Love," she chose Adam Levine as her coach.
- Luke Wade – sung Otis Redding's "That's How Strong My Love Is," a four-chair turner, Wade chose Pharrell Williams
- Bryana Salaz – sung Ariana Grande's "Problem," she chose to enter Gwen Stefani's team
- Damien – sung Boyz II Men's "How Do I Say Goodbye to Yesterday," he chose Adam Levine as coach
- Allison Bray – sung Kacey Musgraves' "Merry Go 'Round," chose Blake Shelton's team
- Taylor John Williams – sung Kanye West's "Heartless," he opted for Gwen Stefani's tutelage
- Elyjuh Rene – sung Beyonce's "XO," he went for Pharrell Williams
- James David Carter – sung Kenneth Edmonds/Keith Sharpe's "Nobody Knows," a four-chair turner, the country singer opted for Blake Shelton
Singers who won't make it to the next "Battle" rounds include Bianca Espinal (Jewel's "Foolish Games"), Megg (Hole's "Celebrity Skin"), and Dennis Bell (Brooks & Dunn's "She Used to be Mine")
