Utah Jazz vs Los Angeles Clippers live stream, start time: Watch NBA online

As the regular season nears its close, there are a few games remaining, but the Utah Jazz are hoping to get a meaningful win as they host the Los Angeles Clippers at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in the National Basketball Association.

The matchup is on April 8, 2016 at 9:00 PM ET.

For the Clippers, the regular season may be as good as finished as they have already secured their spot in the playoffs.

Currently seated in fourth spot, the Clippers are 3.5 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder and are a good 8.0 games ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies who are fifth.

With fourth place as good as locked in their sights, the Clippers may start to slow down and rest some players in preparation for the post-season.

However, expect Blake Griffin to still play as he has just returned following injuries and suspensions.

Griffin will definitely try to use the remaining games to get his fitness back and that certainly does not spell good news for any of the Clippers' opponents.

But for the Jazz, they have no choice but to battle through whoever personnel the Clippers put on them as they are still trying to fight for their playoff lives.

Seated in the eighth spot in the West, they have the last playoff seat and are trying to keep the Houston Rockets at bay.

They currently have a 1.5-game advantage over the Rockets with only a few games remaining, and a big collapse by them may see them drop to ninth place and out of the playoffs.

Utah are also only a game behind the Mavericks which means they have a chance to go up as high as seventh in the East with wins paired by losses from the Mavericks.

With Dallas having a tough schedule ahead, Utah should use these games to try and get wins and climb higher in the rankings.
