ZTE Nubia Z9 US Release Date, News: Bezel-Less Chinese Handset Coming to the US Market in Q3
ZTE recently unveiled their latest flagship phone, the ZTE Nubia Z9, in China last month and according to reports, the device is selling like hotcakes. The craze will come, this time around, to U.S. soil as well.
Owed to its recognizable super-sleek, near-bezel-less front-face display, the device in question is expected to sell with a starting price of $564.
A report from GSM Arena said that the smartphone, which will appear in the country as a standalone brand, is expected to hit the shelves in Q3 and that it will be available in three different variants:
Classic Version (with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard memory) - $564
Elite Model (with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in memory) - $645
Exclusive Top of the Line Model (with fingerprint sensor) - $725
Each variants of the Nubia Z9 boasts a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 display screen with the bezels barely to be seen in both sides.
Just like the higher-end, more popular Android phone brand, Samsung S6 Edge, the Chinese handset allows users to access certain special functions by utilizing what ZTE calls among themselves, the "Frame Interactive Technology."
Under the hood, Nubia Z9 packs a fast-performing Snapdragon 810 SoC which is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery. It has a 4G LTE connectivity.
The device's 16-megapixel primary camera uses Sony's IMX234 sensor technology, with optical image stabilization features and other photo/video snapping enhancement functionalities. On the front, the camera has an 8 MP sensor that is accompanied with a wide-angle lens.
The device, meanwhile, arrives with a customized Android Lollipop OS, out of the box.
