Mark Zuckerberg – Founder and CEO of Meta

The founder, chairman and CEO of the tech company Meta, which owns social networking platforms Facebook and Instagram, is on record as saying he believes his colleagues in Big Tech share a God-like vision for the future of AI.

“When people in the tech industry talk about building this one true AI, it’s almost as if they think they’re creating God or something,” Mark Zuckerberg said last June in a podcast appearance promoting Meta’s own AI initiative. 

Still, Zuckerberg has stated publicly that he believes a future AI “personal superintelligence” will ultimately “help humanity accelerate our pace of progress.”
