Between Two Worlds
I have noticed that many times, the previews for a film are better than the film itself. All of the best bits are in the preview. But people don't go to the movie theater to see a preview; they go to see the movie.

One day, perhaps sooner than we expect, we will enter into eternity. So how will the value of our days be measured?
Every Generation Is Strategic
Billy Graham said, "The evangelistic harvest is always urgent. The destiny of men and of nations is always being decided. Every generation is crucial; every generation is strategic. But we are not responsible for the past generation, and we cannot bear full responsibility for the next one. However, we have our generation! God will hold us responsible. . . ."
Why Did I Just Say That?
I can think of so many times when I should have kept silent, but I just had to speak. On more than one occasion I have said something, and the moment it left my lips, I thought, Why did I just say that?

That is why He would so often say, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" If we were to paraphrase that in our modern language, Jesus would be saying, "Pay attention to what I'm saying. Listen carefully to what I am telling you right now."
Where Do You Stand?
Are you standing up for the Word of God? Do people know where you stand as a follower of Jesus Christ? Do you express your opinion openly?
The Problem With 'Spirituality'
Nowadays people will say things like, "I am not into organized religion; I am into spirituality." Translation: "I make it up as I go. I take of a little of this and a little of that. Whatever suits me and my lifestyle, that is my faith."
