- July 31, 2023, Correction: An earlier version of this article said that Hillsdale Academy was founded in 1919 and that the 1776 curriculum mentions the topic of slavery over 3,000 times. - July 15, 2023, Correction: An earlier version of this op-ed piece incorrectly said the Canadian Reformed Church denomination allows women to hold the office of pastor and was included among a list of theologically conservative denominations that allow female ordination to the office of pastor. Over the years a couple of lead pastors and staff pastors have left and started other churches in the Orlando area," said Rhoden. "The changing music climate in the church world has been a challenging issue. While these factors are not the sum total of the reasons for the decline, they represent the lion share," to Debbie Carey.
