A Pakistani woman, using the pseudonym Esther for security purposes, shared with The Christian Post how she almost became a suicide bomber before converting to Christianity.

Growing up, she was taught that Christians and Jews were her enemy, “So we have to make this Earth clean by killing them or make them give tax or make sure they accept Islam.”

Three days before her planned suicide mission, she was visited in a dream by a man she described as full of light. "Come and follow me," the "light man" told her.

Over the next two days, God put other Christians in her life to share the Gospel with her.

Esther recalled, “I was such a bad girl and God came to save my life. I was going to kill His people but He came to save my life and my soul too.”

You can read more about Esther's story in the recently published book, Defying Jihad by Esther Ahmad.

Anti-Christian violence continues in Burkina Faso.

At least 19 people were killed and 13 were injured in another shooting spree on June 9.

“There is no Christian anymore in this town [Arbinda],” an anonymous contact told the Christian aid charity Barnabus Fund. “It's proven that they were looking for Christians. Families who hide Christians are killed. Arbinda had now lost a total of no less than 100 people within six months.”

82 pastors, 1,145 Christians and 151 households have fled from violence in the Muslim-majority nation.

The son of a church shooting victim says God has made sharing about forgiveness his life mission.

"Emanuel," a documentary about the 2015 church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, premiers in select theaters nationwide on June 17 and 19.

Sharonda Coleman-Singleton was one of white supremacist Dylann Roof's nine victims on the day he opened fire at a Bible study at the historic Emanuel AME Church. Her son, Chris Singleton, who appears in the documentary, shared with The Christian Post why forgiveness is so powerful.

"I'm a believer and I know for a fact that I had help when I said the words that I forgive him," he said about Roof. "I know now that it wasn't just me. I know that God was actually using me and my life during that time. At the time when I said it, I had no idea why I said it. People were saying, your mom was speaking through you. But now I realized that it was God using me in that time."

"Church Anywhere" initiative brings the Gospel to isolated communities.

Prisons, schools, rehab centers: These are just a few of the "micro campuses" started by First Capital Christian Church in Harrison County, Indiana since the "Church Anywhere" initiative began.

“We are passionate about empowering our people to go out and be the Church, which is why we call it ‘Church Anywhere,’” Pastor Tyler Sansom told The Christian Post. “It's empowered our volunteers basically to bring the church to whatever they're passionate about.”

At one of the services in a prison, a prisoner and former gang member is now looking to lead his own second service.

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 91:14-16: "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."
