Justice Andrew Gould said the city of Phoenix cannot violate the sincerely held beliefs of Joanna Duke and Breanna Koski, who own Brush & Nib Studio.

The two artists had filed a lawsuit in 2016 against the city’s ordinance that bans discrimination in places of public accommodation.

Over the weekend, the remains of over 2,200 aborted babies were found at the home of an abortionist who recently died, according to police and family members.

— Doctor who ordered family to hold down Alzheimer’s patient in assisted suicide is exonerated

A doctor who ordered family members to physically restrain a woman, who suffered from Alzheimer’s, during a physician-assisted suicide has been exonerated.

A court in The Hague, Netherlands, ruled last week that the doctor did not break Dutch euthanasia laws due to a declaration the patient made four years before her death expressing the desire to die.

The judge, Mariette Renckens, said the doctor did not need to verify her wish for euthanasia due to her “deeply demented condition.”

The patient had been given a sedative before a lethal dose of drugs was injected into her IV. She woke up, however, and started fighting for her life. That’s when her family members were called in to hold her down until she died.

— Joni Eareckson Tada stresses need to study doctrines of faith through hymns

Joni Eareckson Tada, who is a well-known disability advocate, believes Christians should continue to sing hymns in order to better understand the doctrines of the Christian faith.

Tada told The Christian Post, “[T]here isn’t an urge among most lay Christians to study systematic theology, the great doctrines of the faith, the doctrine of Hell and Heaven, grace, sin, salvation … These are all important foundational stones upon which our faith rests. But when we sing great hymns of the faith, we are learning great doctrine and we don't even know it.”

Tada, who is quadriplegic, noted that hymns have sustained her through numerous trials in her life. She recently beat cancer for the second time.

— North Korea propaganda video says Christians are spies

The Voice of the Martyrs published a newly-discovered propaganda video from North Korea that paints Christians as spies bent on undermining the stability of the country.

The video refers to pastors in China as being puppets for the South Korean government who train people to be spies. It also describes one Christian woman as a “religious fanatic” who would  secretly gather with others in North Korea to worship and pray.

The video was allegedly used to teach state security agents how to identify and silence those who promote religion inside North Korea.

North Korea is listed as the worst country when it comes to the persecution of Christians.
