Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church of Plano, Texas, expressed support for the Trump administration's stance.

In a statement emailed out to supporters on Monday, Graham said that the Pompeo announcement showed “why evangelical Christians have been unwavering in their support for the administration’s domestic and foreign policy agendas.”

“This decision not only strengthens America’s relationship with our most important ally in the Middle East (and, perhaps, the world),” stated Graham.

“It demonstrates to the rest of the world that America still has the courage to stand with Israel.”
