1. Crockett concedes to Talarico in the Democratic primary

In what was billed as the most expensive Senate primary on record, Democratic U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett conceded Wednesday to state Rep. James Talarico in the Democratic primary for Senate.

Talarico led with just under 53% of the vote with 99% of votes tallied, while Crockett secured just over 46%, eliminating the need for a runoff in May, according to Associated Press data.

In a statement shared on X Wednesday, Crockett pledged her support for Talarico, adding she believes “Texas is primed to turn blue.”

"This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track," Crockett wrote. "With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot."
