Kendrick Lamar accepted the BET award for the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist on Sunday night, but most of his acceptance speech was centered around God. Aside from giving God the glory for his award, the 30-year-old rapper honored his industry peer Chance The Rapper by giving him some advice.

"First off all, glory to God all the time. I got to say that," he said before turning his attention to Chance. " Second off, Chance The Rapper, congratulations bro wherever you're at in this crowd. What you're doing, you're just getting started, so keep God with you."
