5 Bible Verses for Those Facing Financial Challenge

When you find yourself facing financial challenges, here are five uplifting Bible verses, all taken from the New International Version. These verses are also good references for serving the poor.

1) Romans 12:13
"Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

2) Leviticus 25:47
"He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. 'For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's on them he has set the world.'"

3) Psalm 9:18
"But God will never forget the needy the hope of the afflicted will never perish."

4) Psalm 146:7
"He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free."

5) Matthew 5:3
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
